ASIAN PACIFIC COMMUNITY FUND
The ASIAN PACIFIC COMMUNITY FUND (APCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization founded in 1990 to serve the vast and critical needs of the
Asian, Pacific Islander, and other ethnic communities in the Greater Los
Angeles area.
By giving to APCF, you make a difference in over 250,000 lives each year by helping to provide vital health and human services that are culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate such as: After-school programs for youth Citizenship assistance Counseling & case management Domestic violence shelters and counseling Emergency helplines Job training Gang prevention & intervention Health care Immigrant worker services & advocacy Legal services Low-income/affordable housing Mental health treatment programs Older adult services Substance abuse prevention & treatment Youth Leadership APCF agencies are among the few providing health and human services in 27 Asian languages plus English and Spanish. Because the Asian Pacific Islander community is made up of more than 45 distinct ethnic groups and a multitude of cultures speaking more than 100 languages, language assistance is critical in providing access to services. APCF is the ONLY Asian Pacific Islander community-based fund of its kind in Southern California. By choosing to give to APCF, you ensure that your charitable donation directly supports the Asian Pacific Islander community in Los Angeles County. Your charitable donation will help to build healthier communities, develop leaders, create a stronger community voice, and provide the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.
