WEBSITE
Founded in 1968, the Brotherhood Crusade's principal mission is to help individuals overcome barriers that deter their pursuit of success in life and facilitate opportunities for a better quality of life by effectuating improved health and wellness; facilitating academic success; promoting personal, social and economic growth; providing access to artistic excellence and cultural awareness; increasing financial literacy; and building community agencies and institutions.
The Brotherhood Crusade provides direct programs and services to those who need it most in our beautiful city. We believe Los Angeles can be a safe, thriving, culturally relevant and inclusive community that provides all residents equitable access to human and social services and continually improves their quality of life.
What We Do
Brotherhood Crusade provides direct services, advocacy, and community-based programs across Los Angeles, with a strong focus on South LA and surrounding neighborhoods. Our flagship Youth Development Program reaches more than 30,000 high-risk youth annually, with 1,500+ participants served each day. Our programs help young people succeed in school and in life by connecting them with positive role models, academic support, health and wellness resources, social and relationship skills, safe environments, and basic services. We also work to strengthen families and communities through systems and policy change.
Your support helps provide everything from school supplies and after-school tutoring to job readiness programs and youth camps—giving young people the tools and opportunities they need to grow and thrive.
