Who We Are
ULF serves Latinx communities throughout Los Angeles County by supporting the nonprofit organizations, leaders, and initiatives working closest to the challenges facing local residents. Through community-driven investments, ULF helps address critical needs related to economic opportunity, housing, workforce development, and other issues that impact the well-being and future of Latinx families.
By prioritizing organizations that are deeply connected to the communities they serve, ULF ensures that resources reach grassroots efforts creating meaningful, long-term solutions for individuals and families across Los Angeles.
What We Do
ULF invests in and supports Latinx-serving nonprofit organizations through workplace giving campaigns, community grants, and capacity-building resources. By directing employee donations toward community-based solutions, ULF helps strengthen organizations that provide essential services, expand opportunities, and create lasting change.
Through its Community Grants Program, ULF funds initiatives focused on improving job readiness, increasing access to living-wage employment, expanding affordable housing opportunities, and supporting strategies that help communities thrive. ULF also provides technical assistance to grantee organizations, helping them build capacity and increase their ability to serve Los Angeles residents.
